Old Scotch Cricket Association

The Old Scotch Cricket Association (“OSCA”) commenced with one team in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association in 1968/69.

OSCA owes a debt of gratitude to Bob Gilchrist who at that time made available the junior school’s Montrose Oval as a home ground for the new club. OSCA has now grown to three teams (A1, B1 & Limited Overs Div 3 grades), almost every member of which are recent Old Collegians of Scotch College.

The A’s play two-day cricket with home games on the Scotch No. 2 oval which has been the battle ground for many exciting matches. The B grade also plays on No. 2 but now play in the B1 competition. The  C grade, who play one-day cricket, is fortunate to be able to play home games at the spiritual home of OSCA, Montrose Oval. Trainings are held Tuesdays & Thursdays and thanks to the College OSCA are able to use some of the best training wickets in Adelaide.

OSCA prides itself on its competitive spirit on the field and its active social environment off the field. New players are always welcome.

OSCA adheres to SACA’s Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy and has adopted Australian Cricket’s Child Safe Framework Click Here to view.
